Two weeks is still plenty of time to plan to participate in an extraordinary performance, which are the World Championship Sled Dog. This year, 10 edition will be held on 10 -13 February 2011 in Donowalach in Slovakia. The competition will be attended by athletes from all member countries of the Association FISTC (authorizing the organization to participate in competitions Only pure-bred dogs north). Contestants will compete in four distances: 8, 12, 18 and 20 km, and in 9 different categories, depending on the number and breed of dogs. Northern Breeds participating in the competition are: Siberian Husky, Alaskan Malamute, Samoyed, Dog Greenland. According to the tradition of championship competitions consist of three stages and last for 3 days. The first race starts on Friday morning and the results are given on Sunday, after finishing the third stage races.
