Movement is a healthy part 1
Today I will not write either the social or cultural wydarzaniach about Swedish traditions, but about the sport.
all we know, that the movement is healthy. They know it too Swedes:) The statistics show that every second Swede play sport. Sport plays an in their lives, a very important role and is present in the schedule of classes from early childhood to old age. Children from kindergarten to attend training sessions such as football or hockey, and the adult-to gymnastics to one of the fashionable fitness clubs such as SATS or friskis & Svettis. Workplaces must make a contribution to the booklet even half of the gym. Very often, in conversations or entries on facebook addresses the subject of gymnastics in the group "gympa" (read: JYMPA). At a gymnastics or aerobics wear, men!
Those who do not grow any sports, and so a lot of move, because I walk or ride a bike. I go walking to work.
Some of you know that a few years ago I was very active sports: skiing, cross country skiing, cycling, tennis, golf, hiking filled my free czas.Odkąd'm in Sweden, my sports involvement strongly diminished. Alas! This does not mean, however, that accused the sport completely. Not at all! At first I got Czterdziestka skates in my life. That winter I traveled to several different rinks and even the frozen lakes. But fun! Last winter was
finally a lot of snow in the whole of Sweden, also in Stockholm, so I was running cross-country skiing on well-maintained routes, 5 minutes from my block. And last year in the summer pojeździłam a little used area on a bicycle (which I unfortunately was stolen-fortunately, only in late summer). For a month I have a new sporting hobby: BADMINTON. Do not think that I held so far not a badminton racket in his hand. In childhood we played in the summer, "paddle", but had no points, probably just number of strokes. Our pitch was the lawn in front of the house, or the entry of bramą.Przypominacie yourself these climates? Now I'm on "training" to "rackethall. Pitch is carefully targeted, you can easily see where the dart fell down: (The hall is more than a dozen tracks, which, surprisingly, occupied mostly by men. Apparently, the sport does not enjoy a special interest in women. So far I have been training relentlessly, but so far I could not win. But what? VITAL TO HEALTH!!

Burlesque Invitations
Picnic or Valborg in Swedish
Polish Picnic reminds me of trips to the mountains, bike rides, and the opening of the grilling season. In Sweden, the last day of April and first days of May is a kind of welcoming spring.
April 30 is Walpurgis or VALBORGSMÄSSAFTON. Wherever possible, people leave the service as early as lunchtime. We all rush home to prepare for the evening celebration. The main highlight of the evening program are enormous fire that burns in almost all towns and villages Szwecji.Również in Stockholm.
Walpurgis celebrations for me it's still exotic, so I willingly take part in a bit more elaborate and dramatic version than in other districts. The celebration begins at the Old Town Square. About 20.00 already attracted substantial crowds here. For 20 SEK buy one of the last torch and set to gradually forming a procession with torches. Let's move on. The pace is snail-like, but it's good because you have to be very careful to themselves and others do not burn. We walk through the streets of Old Town. Before us, behind us and around us, the torch lights flicker. The light illuminates zmierzchający day ... and heralds the beginning of spring! We come to the coast of Lake Mälar.Czekamy only the signal of the organizers to move the torch to the fire. This moment comes z. .. rain. The crowd did not lose neither breezy nor enthusiasm
(sometimes heated liquor from behind under his arm), some folk songs and chants we all join the common singing. Hiding under parasols to welcome the spring:) The rest of the evening program runs pretty much the same everywhere, namely the deflection cup at home or in a pub.

KULTURNATT or overnight culture. For the first time in Stockholm. Attracted by the historical, cultural event, buy a ticket for 300 points of the program, which runs almost all the museums, many other tourist attractions, mini theater, concerts, dance shows, etc. Ready? START! Nocturnal adventure with the culture of getting a few minutes after 19-th, the hours slip caused by lack of clear information, what, how, where, itp.W next year will be better:)
first point of the program is Konserthuset . Unfortunately we can not cheat on a guided tour on the roof. We listen for a couple of gospel songs performed by the lovely female choir. Then ride
STOCKHOLM FILM FESTIVAL'S BUS , during which we learn a little about the Stockholm Film Festival. We get off at OPERA. We are not alone, crawling in here the other night amateur cultural atrakcji.W Golden Foye
waiting for us with a beautiful mini-recital of arias. Ian glances quickly jescze on the main stage and we move on, the old town. There, we look to NOBEL MUSEUM (Museum of the Nobel). All proposed activities, lecture, exhibition and activities manual-subordinate theme of "plastic". I'd prefer there was a bit longer and I played in the "creativity." Let's go on to Tyska KYRKAN (The German church). The decor of this church is the perfect backdrop for the wonderful baroque music, which sounded just there. It's getting late and if you want to try something else before the museum shut its doors, we have to move dalej.Przy NYBROKAJEN - JAZZ. We are waiting for a bus to DJURGÅRDEN legs undermine themselves to dance, but the bus arrives, we go on a night tour of the most famous museum in Stockholm, VASA Museet. Museum seems to be deserted. Only here and there are spinning some turyści.Nie we are interested in watching a movie or visiting the museum with a guide, but what life in the crew below deck. While I was in the Vasa museum more than 100 times, for the first time I'm in a small room on the first floor, equipped with special sound effects and lights, simulating a storm, storm and calm weather at sea. Really cool experience!

Susceptible To Pneumonia
I always thought I was a patriot, but only lokalną.Jednak again this year, I felt very strongly patriotic by large P. This time the reason was not the spectacular success of our athletes, but the government's plane crash in 1910 April 2010.Moje patriotic feelings were not manipulated or exacerbated by the media, because I just watched the BBC reports. And probably good .....
During the week of national mourning, I went to the Polish Embassy of the Karlavägen to submit a written notice issued in books kondolencyjnych there. Fence surrounding the embassy building was drowning in kwiatach.Na sidewalk standing candles. My eyesight has attracted modest piece written by an anonymous Estonian: "My deepest sympathy to the words of the Polish people in your great sorrow." Pathetic!
In those days I heard a word of interest and condolences from several friends on Facebook, colleague and participant in the course of Polish. On the one hand, such a sublime and, secondly, such a normal and human ...
